Getting started
Elumre connects to your AI agent so it can build estimates for you — writing modules, hour ranges and prices straight into your account while it still has your project in context.
Setup takes about a minute. For most people it needs no terminal at all.
What you need
- An Elumre account. Create one free — nothing to install.
- An AI agent that supports MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code, Cursor, Zed and Devin Desktop all do.
Your server address
This is the only thing you copy. Every guide below is just about where to paste it.

If you use Claude in any form, start with the Claude guide. Setting it up once in your browser switches it on everywhere else, including Claude Code — so you can skip the terminal entirely.
What happens when you connect
A browser window opens and asks you to sign in to Elumre and approve access. That is expected, and it is the point: your agent never sees your password, and you can revoke access later without changing anything else.
Your agent then works on the team you are currently in, with the same permissions you have. If you are a viewer in Elumre, your agent can read but not change anything. Those rules are enforced by Elumre, not by the agent.
